Creating an Account
Why should I create an account?
A nesea.org account gives members access to benefits (ex. member pricing on programs, abillity to post to/view resume bank, access to member directory).
How do I create an account?
Business, Academic, Non-Profit/Government Members
Each employee/student of a NESEA Business, Academic, or Non-Profit/Government Member must create an individual user account to access member benefits. (There are no organization-wide user accounts.) If you are not able to access member benefits after creating an account, please contact Katie Schendel, NESEA Membership Manager, at kschendel@nesea.org (you can typically expect a response within 24 hours).
- Go to nesea.org/user.
- Select the blue button I want to Create an Account.
- Complete the required fields as designated by asterisk.
- When finished, click on the button Create New Account at the bottom of the page.
- You will be asked to validate your user name and password through your email account.
Individual Members (Lifetime, Standard, Emerging Professional, Student, Retiree)
- Go to nesea.org/user.
- Select the blue button I want to Create an Account.
- Complete the required fields as designated by asterisk.
- Please enter email associated with the purchase of the membership.
- When finished, click on the Green Button Create New Account at the bottom of the page.
- You will be asked to validate your user name and password through your email.
What will I see on my account page?
Once you log into your nesea.org account, you will be brought to your account page, which displays your registrations for NESEA events and your NESEA Member public profile. You can also check on your membership status/expiration date and register for upcoming events.
I created an account, but I still can not access my account page.
- Please make sure you properly validated your account by following the instructions in the email confirmation you received when you created the account.
- If you do not see the validation confirmation email, please check the spam folder in your email account.
Where can I find my membership level, status, and expiration date?
- Log in to your account. This will bring you to your account page.
- Scroll down to the section titled "NESEA Membership"
- Your membership level, status, and expiration date will be displayed below.
Complete or Edit Your NESEA Member Directory Profile
How do I update my contact information (address, email, telephone)?
- Create or sign in to your account here.
- Click on Update your email address or password or Update your mailing address.
- Enter Information in the fields provided. (These fields will not be displayed publicly.)
- Click on Save at the bottom on the screen.

How do I upload or change my photo?
- Create or sign in to your account here.
- Click on Add or update your photo.
- Scroll down until you see Upload Picture.
- Click on Browse.
- Select photo you wish to upload.
- Click on Save at the bottom on the screen.
How do I update my employer and job title?
- Create or sign in to your account here.
- Click on Create or edit your public profile.
- Enter information in the Update my Current Employer and Job Title fields.
- Click on Save at the bottom on the screen.
- Please note: It may take our system up to 24 hours to process your employer update. For immediate assistance, please contact Katie Schendel at kschendel@nesea.org.
How do I edit my profile (including bio, website, social media, AIA, BPI, and MA CSL numbers?)
- Create or sign in to your account here.
- Click on Create or edit your public profile.
- Enter information in the fields provided.
- Click on Save at the bottom on the screen.
NESEA Member Pricing and Benefits
My employer has a NESEA Business, Academic, or Non-Profit/Government Membership. How do I access member pricing and benefits through my organization's membership?
Each employee/student of a NESEA Business, Academic, or Non-Profit/Government Member must create an individual user account to access member benefits. (There are no organization-wide user accounts.) If you are not able to access member benefits after creating an account, please contact Katie Schendel, NESEA Membership Manager, at kschendel@nesea.org (you can typically expect a response within 24 hours).
NESEA Business, Academic, or Non-Profit/Government Member benefits and resources are available for all employees and students of a organization with a NESEA Business, Academic, or Non-Profit/Government Membership.

- Once you are logged in, return to the event registration page.
- Your NESEA Member pricing should display automatically.

How do I access the NESEA Member Directory?
- Create or sign in to your account here.
- After you log in, go to the NESEA Member Directory.

How do I submit a blog post?
- Create or sign in to your account here.
- After you log in, go to NESEA's Community Blog.
- Take a moment to review the Submission Guidelines.
- Click on New Post.
- Enter the Title of the blog.
- In the Body field, write your blog or cut and paste from another document. Note: If you cut and paste from another document, be sure to remove any formatting.
- After you are finished, scroll down and click Save.
- Your post will be published within 24 hours.

How do I add a job posting to the NESEA Jobs Board?
- Create or sign in to your account here. For directions on how to create an account, go here.
- After you log in, go to the NESEA Jobs Board and follow directions on the page.
If you are logged in and cannot add a job posting, please contact Florence MacGregor at fmacgregor@nesea.org.
NESEA Business Member Directory (Business, Academic, Non-Profit/Government Member Benefit)
How do I update/complete my company’s business member directory listing?
The employee who purchased your NESEA NESEA Business, Academic, or Non-Profit/Government Membership will have permission in our system to update/complete the listing. If there are other employees in your company who would like permission to edit the listing, please contact Katie Schendel at kschendel@nesea.org. Once we have given you permission, follow the directions below.
- Sign in to your individual user account. This will bring you to your account page. If you are already logged in, go directly to My Account.
- Click on the link under Edit NESEA Business Directory Listing to fill out the form.
- You can also upload your company logo for display in the online directory.
- After you are finished, click Submit. You can update this form any time, as needed.
