Full Description
With 550 billion of new infrastructure investments over the next decade, the increasing demand of a skilled workforce that can meet the demands of climate change, is eminent. By addressing today’s labor supply imbalances, this session will bring forward tangible solutions for creating an equitable workforce to help achieve a net-zero industry. As such, it will address the following questions: - How does the need for more buildings, and a transition towards green build challenge the skillset of the current workforce? - What role should federal, state, and local leaders play in minimizing the labor shortage? - How do we ensure an equitable workforce and whose role is it, to ensure this?
