Proposed Session Description
There is a small but emerging collective consciousness around pleasure advocacy and radical revolution. Meaning, we find joy in the most mundane, we live out our greatest potential, and regardless of the outcome we strive for beauty and return to the root of our existence and communion with Earth. Without joy and love infused in our efforts, without connection to Earth, Spirit and each other we are lost, with no purpose or intention. Through discovering our symbiotic relationship with Nature and rooting ourselves in joy we are more fully equipped to disseminate information and share, or scale, our work to design, create and build more harmoniously. This may be a reminder for some, a reframing for others, but ultimately one big group hug.
Learning Objectives
Attendees will be able to explore and identify their connection to themselves, others and the world around them.
Attendees will create an inspired plan to move forward with their practice and dissemination of information to others.

Full Description
This session addresses an often missing piece in our work of designing, engineering and building. That piece is love, joy, and the pleasure of of being alive and doing goodness in the world. As we hear so often of depressing world news, climate degradation, hatred and bullying we must find a way to hold on to happiness. We must live within a community of respite and support. It is imperative that we walk outside of our offices, leave our computers and bathe in the warmth of the sun, the cool breezes, the smell of tomato vines and the sound of the birds. With this enlightened spirit we are better able to share and scale this vision of what it is we are trying to save. Scaling will happen naturally when we can address each other from a place of shared desires. Though buried deep in some, the innate need to be in nature and to be loved is within us all.
