Full Description
Thousands of steam heating systems in New England slated for retrofit because of low efficiency and comfort. Common solution, = conversion into hot water heaing require ripping off existing SH completely, installing new boiler, piping and radiators and thorough building insulation. It's expensive, long and very difficult with tenants on premises. Conversion into vacuum heating is quicker, cheapper, keep existing system, minimise inconvenience to tenants.
