Proposed Session Description
People in the Western world spend around 90% of their lives indoor. In other words, we have gone from being part of the nature to being apart from the nature. Therefore, we need to develop creative solutions that foster a healthy indoor environment in buildings that support essential physical and mental human functions while contributing to economically and sustainable development. It is not so much the time we spend indoors, but the quality of the indoor climate in our physical indoor spaces that can affect our health, learning, creativity and productivity. The question is, how we ensure and balance healthy indoor climate, healthy behavior and healthy technology. During this session, leading experts will provide insights into the newest research but also provide examples on how technology can enhance strong health and continuous well-being.
