I am in charge of business development at Perryman Technologies Research LLC have a thermal trough and dishes combined with thermal energy storage and using this thermal energy to generate Combined Cooling, Heat and Power (CCHP) using our trigeneration system.
Proposed Session Description
A compact thermal energy storage system that will deliverhot water, heating, A/C. The system will be charged using off-peak electricity fromthe grid and deliver 24/7/365 hot water, heating, and A/C and power during theday's peak period to the entire building. It will use the existing deliverysystem of the building for hot water, heating, and A/C. The system can also use renewable energy to charge thestorage system or our own solar thermal troughs or dishes to generated thethermal energy, which captures 5 times more energy than PV.Our solar panels capture the full solar spectrum and 24/7infrared energy. We have been refining our storage for 11-years, increasing the efficiencyof storing and reducing the cost.  Whencompared to electrochemical batteries goal of reducing the cost of storage perkilowatt to $150 or less, we have already achieved well under $50 per kilowatt, even factoring the cost of the thermal to electric systems to convert ourstored heat to power. As we focus on retrofitting existing thermal to electricsystems the actual cost of our storge which can last for a half-century orlonger is less than $18 per kilowatt.
Why is this session important?
It addresses the issue of providing trigeneration hot water, heating, A/C and electricity from on system. This is the first time we are proposing renewable energy that addresses all the energy aspect of a building at a competitive price
Diversity and Inclusiveness
This technology should be available to everybody. We would like to train as many people as possible to learn about it.
Learning Objectives
To know that there is a trigeneration technology available today.
To know that it is easy to install
That it is economical
That is is sustainable
