Proposed Session Description
Why do we retire our models at project close-out? Could they be automated to design, construct, operate, and recycle our buildings? How can the automation of early sustainable design data speed our industry toward it's 2030 goals? How will de-fab & pre-fab accelerate workforce development, and deliver whole building life cycle carbon and cost analysis? This session will show how Open source software is taking on these issues, and what Architecture, Engineering, and Construction can learn from tech, healthcare and logistics.
Diversity and Inclusiveness
It opens the design and build community to those without resources and/or those typically marginalized.
