Proposed Session Description
A discussion of all-electric ventilation solutions, decentralized vs. centralized ventilation, and how to provide indoor spaces with fresh, outside air in the most energy efficient way. Ventilation
Why is this session important?
Ventilation plays a vital part in keeping occupants healthy and safe, while electrification significantly helps to reduce the carbon footprint of buildings. HVAC manufacturers need to adapt their technologies and approaches to solving the current global challenges. This session will propose alternative strategies to lower energy consumption while bringing fresh air indoors, compared to traditional products and designs.

Maybe - Both presenters are from Oxygen8 however, who I believe makes HVAC equipment. I would like to know more about how this would not be too much of a marketing/sales pitch.  Would like to know why they have indicated this should be level 3 prior experience level.

ROUND 1 COMMENTS: Concerns about it being a sales pitch and the level 3 expertise they're asking for, given how super-short the proposal is.

Learning Objectives
Understand the financial, architectural and design benefits of decentralized ventilation design in commercial and multi-family residential buildings.
Learn to design energy-efficient ventilation systems with optimal occupant comfort with a deep dive into demand controlled ventilation (DCV).
Understand the importance ventilation has on human health.
Has this session been presented before?
