Comments about your speaker roster
Alex De Gagné is a Building Technologist having completed 2 technical college A.E.C. degrees (Building Construction plus Building Inspection) plus some related training like a 10-day course directly at the Passivhaus Institute in Darmstadt, Germany. Born in the ski mountain village of Mt-Sutton, Qc, 6 miles North from the Vermont border in a family of construction contractor, Alex worked in technical sales for the last 14 years for major manufacturers in the HVAC industry. Among others was Fantech-Systemair, one of the largest North-American manufacturers of ventilation products (HRV/ERV, inline fan, etc.). Alex got heavily involved in the mechanical industry as a Director on the Board of the Canadian Institute of Plumbing and Heating for 2 years. He was also for some time Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of Quebec Passive House, for which he had given talks to introduce Passivhaus to the general public.
