Proposed Session Description
Massachusetts and Connecticut have two of the most ambitious climate action plans and greenhouse gas reduction goals in the United States, and residential buildings are a critical sector in both. With residential new construction housing in high production across both states, it is essential that we capitalize on the opportunity to decarbonize these buildings and push the market towards high performance all-electric homes. The Sponsors of Mass Save and Energize Connecticut have each launched robust incentive offers that seek to do just that. With the right technical specifications and the financial incentive to get there, builders and developers in both states can build better, healthier, and more efficient homes while transforming the residential housing market in the process.
