1. Summarize flood resistant design and construction regulations for both municipalities, and their applicability to existing and proposed buildings.
2. Identify common publicly available tools that consultants and building owners can leverage to better understand the current and potential future flood-related risks for properties in Boston and Cambridge.

Where properties are not required to comply with flood-resistant design and construction regulations, publicly available tools can be used to aid building owners in making strategic flood protection decisions that best balance asset protection and the costs of mitigation implementation and recovery.
