Sorting through available information to identify building materials can be a challenge. Circularity – is that just about minimizing waste? b. This session will address these questions with actionable strategies. A licensed Architect working as a specification writer and material researcher will address this topic and share experiences. She will provide strategies and tools to improve selections, suggestions for sources to find information, methods to prioritize selections, and ideas for motivating team members to join the battle. c. Improving our building material palette is an important, but frequently neglected piece of the practice of Architecture. There are many opportunities to do this, and we will cover a lot of ground. Actionable methods to make better selections and improve construction documents will be key take aways from this session.
