For people of color, indigenous people, LGBTQIA, people with disabilities, and women.
At BuildingEnergy Boston 2019, we organized the first-ever NESEA Diversity Caucus, bringing together members of our community who identify as POC, indigenous people, LGBTQIA individuals, women, and people with disabilities. We shared stories, successes and strategies – and we’re back for the second year! Join us as we deepen our commitment to racial, gender, economic and disability justice in our high-performance building community. We will give an update on the NESEA Diversity Caucus Report and facilitate an interactive workshop on how to build inclusivity into our industry’s culture. We will review the Triple Bottom Line, Benefit Corporation's, and B Lab’s best practices for "Engaging and Retaining a Diverse Workforce."
