Registration opens December 15
The RFP Process for BuildingEnergy Boston in now closed. After recieving 187 proposals, the Content Committee will work to distill those down to fit the 2017 conference schedule. Proposal writers should expect to hear the status of their proposal by late October. Thank you very much for being such an engaged and informed community.
BuildingEnergy conferences are dedicated to high quality, meaningful content. Please note proposals with content focusing upon sustainable energy and high performance building techniques, practices, and solutions will garner more favor than proposals with content focusing on specific or proprietary products and/or services.
For questions about this form, please contact Conference Coordinator Susan Farber at sfarber@nesea.org. For questions about BuildingEnergy or NESEA, please contact Director of Operations, Beth Fraser at bfraser@nesea.org
BuildingEnergy Boston is a place to shape a vision of a sustainable built environment and to do the whole systems thinking it will take to get there. No greenwashing, no sales pitches.
BuildingEnergy Boston presents hundreds of hours of educational sessions and workshops over three days. On the main days of the conference, we offer over fifty 90-minute sessions featuring one or more professional speakers. We also offer full- and half-day workshops on Tuesday led by master practitioners working in the Northeast and beyond. In the past we’ve aligned our session content with “tracks,” but we’ve done away with the rigid structure in favor of highlighting a smaller number of areas of focus, supplemented by a diverse range of keywords to help you find what you need to advance your practice.
Curated by you
All of the content at BuildingEnergy Boston is organized by NESEA members. Proposals are submitted to the conference from the greater NESEA community and beyond, but must be approved by a number of select committees composed of experienced NESEA member practitioners.
Rigor guaranteed
NESEA requires an extensive array of actual performance data for projects featured in BuildingEnergy presentations. How do we know we’re promoting sustainability if we don’t keep track? All sessions are also registered for CEUs with AIA, BPI, and GBCI.
