The BuildingEnergy Boston Conference + Trade Show is scheduled for Wednesday, March 8, and Thursday, March 9, 2017. Pre-conference workshops take place on Tuesday, March 7, and can be purchased separately. Online registration is not available after midnight on March 6. Onsite registration will open on Tuesday, March 7 at 8 a.m. No discounts are offered onsite; however, NESEA member pricing will be available.

A benefit of NESEA membership is special pricing for NESEA events. Members should log in  before registering at NESEA.org. Student pricing

As part of NESEA's ongoing effort to expand its community, NESEA offers special pricing to students, emerging professionals, employees of non-profit organizations and employees of government agencies. Student pricing is intended for full-time students interested in attending the conference.

1. Are you a full-time student?
2. Do you have an .edu email address?
3. Do you have a student ID?

If you answered YES to these questions, then you qualify for the student price. Take a picture or scan your college or university issued ID and email it from your .edu address to Susan Farber at sfarber@nesea.org. We will email you a discount code to use when you register. PLEASE NOTE: There is no special pricing for pre-conference workshops or NESEA Night. Also, lunch is not provided with student pricing. There are no student discounts for onsite registration.

Emerging professional pricing

As part of NESEA's ongoing effort to expand its community, NESEA offers special pricing to students, emerging professionals, employees of non-profit organizations and employees of government agencies. Emerging professional pricing is intended for people who have been working in sustainable building, renewable energy, or a related field for less than five years. This rate is not handed out lightly. Please apply by March 1 to be considered for this pricing. If you think you are likely to be approved, email Susan Farber at sfarber@nesea.org and briefly explain how you meet these criteria. We will review and respond to requests in the order they are received. If you qualify, we will email you a code to use when you register. PLEASE NOTE: There is no special pricing for pre-conference workshops or NESEA Night. Also, lunch is not provided with Emerging professional pricing. There are no emerging professional discounts for onsite registration.

Non-profit / government pricing

As part of NESEA's ongoing effort to expand its community, NESEA offers special pricing to students, emerging professionals, employees of non-profit organizations and employees of government agencies. The non-profit/government rate to attend BuildingEnergy Boston is $150 for one day (either Wednesday or Thursday) and $300 for both days (Wednesday and Thursday). Employees of non-profit organizations or government offices should contact Susan Farber at sfarber@nesea.org to receive a discount code for registration. Non-profits should be prepared to send a copy of their 501(c)(3) exemption letter. PLEASE NOTE: There is no special pricing for pre-conference workshops or NESEA Night.


Group discounts

There is a discount for groups of 4 or more. Contact Beth Fraser at bfraser@nesea.org or 413-774-6051 x25 for more information.


Refunds & cancellations

Refund requests MUST be received by February 15. There will be no refunds after this date. A $75 handling fee applies to every processed refund. Please send requests to Beth Fraser at bfraser@nesea.org or 413-774-6051 x25.
